About

Dr. Brian Scheele is a board-certified emergency physician and our regional medical director in Washington State at the Gorge Amphitheatre and assistant medical director for our Burning Man operations in the Nevada desert.

Local to the Pacific Northwest, he began his medical career as an emergency medical technician and high-altitude search and rescue specialist with the National Park Service at both Mount Rainier and Denali National Parks. He worked amongst EMS on the field of play throughout the 2016 Rio Olympic Games. He has been active in education and providing emergency care during conflict, humanitarian and disaster relief in Iraq, Malawi, South Sudan, Sierra Leone, Uganda, Guatemala, Peru and the Bahamas. Additionally he traveled to New York City to provide emergency care in Queens during the early 2020 pandemic.

Dr. Scheele was educated at the University of Washington, Georgetown University, and Pacific Northwest University of Health Sciences and completed his clinical training at the University of Maryland Shock Trauma Center and Mount Sinai Medical Center in Miami Beach.

He has been partnered with CrowdRx since 2018, practices emergency medicine full-time between Washington State and Nevada, and takes pride in the opportunity to provide excellent event medical services at his local venue,  the Gorge Amphitheatre.
