Jamie Chang, MD
About
Born and raised in Australia, Dr. Chang has broad international health experience, ranging from working with ambulance services in South Africa, developing triage systems in Southeast Asia, creating disaster plans for countries in the Middle East, and serving on projects for the World Health Organization to improve clinical operations for health systems in low resource settings. He was previously a management consultant for McKinsey and Company, and has worked with the Los Angeles County Department of Health Services to improve emergency department performance across the region.
Dr. Chang completed his clinical training in emergency medicine at Stanford Hospital and Clinics. He graduated summa cum laude from Princeton University with a degree in economics and received his MD from Harvard Medical School and MBA from Harvard Business School. He is a Fellow of the American College of Emergency Physicians and continues to see patients in the emergency department at Kaiser Permanente.
